Manitoba education Online ResourcesManitoba Education has put out a resource for families to help provide some guidance on topics from Grade 5-8. Excellent place with videos and more showing how to do some of the work and assist families.

Virtual Field Trips - over 30 virtual field trips with links

Lunch Doodles with Mo Willems - daily drawing lessons with Mo Willems, author of the Pigeon books and the Elephant and Piggie books.

Prodigy Math Games - a great resource for families that gets kids motivated to learn math. You will need to create a free account for your child.

Dreambox - another online math resource that is great for understanding and learning math concepts. There is a free sign up now for new students. Some students already have an account through school and can use that login information

Highlights Kids - many different activities you can do with your child at home.

Brainpop - wonderful resource for many different subject topics. Short videos and small assignments provide great learning experiences.

Wonderopolis - a place where natural curiosity and imagination lead to exploration and discovery in learners of all ages. Each day, we pose an intriguing question - the Wonder of the Day - and explore it in a variety of ways.

Art for Kids Hub - daily drawing lessons for kids.

OK Go - music videos by the band OK Go. Watch the Rube Goldberg machine. Think you could do something like that?

Cardio for Kids - have a blast with this kid friendly cardio workout.

Incredibox - interactive site that allows students to try different combinations of beat -boxing rhythms.
